PRAYER AND FASTING: SUNDAY 11 TO FRIDAY 16 MAY.
We plan to start on Sunday 11 May by joining in with the Global Day of Prayer event from 3pm to 5.30pm at Millwall Football Stadium with 25,000 others. See separate leaflets for details. This time of prayer and fasting is at a critical stage in our church life as we seek a successor to Billy and plan to launch new initiatives.
NEW PASTOR – AN UPDATE: Ray Toms will be preaching on May 25th.
DIVORCE CARE: A new series has just started at Ron and Ann’s home on Thursday evenings for those who have suffered the trauma of divorce or separation. Ron or Ann (863150) can tell you more.
BAPTISMS: Nicola Pitt is being baptised today and Jocelyn Fitzpatrick will be baptised on June 29th. If you have been considering baptism then please speak to Billy or any of the other elders and we can arrange that for you.
CAFÉ CHURCH: The first of the Costa Café Church Services will take place on the evening of Sunday June 8th. We are very excited about the possibilities that this opportunity affords us but quite daunted at the task that lies ahead. See Mike James for more information or to offer any assistance.
CHURCH MEETING: The next church meeting will take place on 4th June 2008 in KRC. Please book this into your diary now. Lots of crucial decisions will be discussed that night including (hopefully) recommendation for new pastor; Sure Start application progress and much more.

- for Nicola Pitt’s desire to be obedient to God by being baptised today.
- for another 16 opportunities to pray this week for the good number of crucial decisions that will be taken soon and for the ongoing growth and outreach of the Church.

- Mary Batchelor as she reaches the end of a grueling week of radiotherapy. Pray for strength and for a successful shrinking of the tumor.
- Audrey Heyns who is patiently waiting for a lung transplant.
