Sunday

The Sunday programme is designed to cater for everyone. Whether you have been a Christian for years or whether you are only curious, we believe you will feel comfortable when you visit us.

Important! venue reminder

Both the 9:30 communion service and the 10:30 family service are usually held at Bridgewater School in Berkhamsted. During the summer holidays and on a few other occassions we may meet in Kings Road instead. See the Weekly Notices for the latest details.

Communion

Every week we have a service of communion which is conducted in the true New Testament style of breaking bread and sharing the wine together. This is held at 9.30am, except on the last Sunday of the month, when it is included within the Family Service. This service usually lasts about 45 minutes and finishers in good time for those who want to go on to the next service.

Family Service

This service starts at 10.30am and includes; worship, singing, Bible reading, prayer, a Children’s slot, an inspiring talk based on the Bible (sermon), news items, features on overseas aid projects which we support (KRC International) and much more. No two weeks are alike and the style of the service will vary according to who is leading or speaking each week. The service runs for about an hour and 20 minutes. A crèche is provided for small children and babies so that you can enjoy the service – and so can those around you. Our sermons are all recorded and are available on this site. So whether you missed a week or you would like a taster please go to our sermon resource page.

Refreshments

No Sunday would be complete without the excellent time after the services when we enjoy some of the best cakes you can imagine with tea and coffee and soft drinks for the children. This is a great opportunity to catch up with people or make new friends.

Children and Teens

There is a full programme of activity for all ages. Please see the children and youth pages.

Changes

There are weeks when we may occasionally make changes at short notice. Please check the Weekly Notices page for current information.
