Here are some common questions we’ve been asked by people coming to the church for the first time, which you may find useful.
Is KRC just for Christians?
No! KRC is for Christians and those who want to find out more about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian. KRC can help you find out more and put you in contact with other people in the church who have recently become Christians. Also, KRC runs something called an Alpha course which helps you find out about the basics and what being a Christian entails. If you want details, please contact our Pastor, Billy Milton (see below).
I have a young family, does KRC cater for young children?
Yes. we value children very much and there are a number of activities specially for them, such as Kings Club on a Sunday morning, an after-school Kidz Klub (5 -9 years) on Tuesdays and Rendezvous for our Teenagers on a Friday evening. Please ask for more details, or contact our Children’s Pastor Kev Nash, or our Youth Pastor Brendyn Mercer.
I’m new to the area; can anyone help me find my way around?
We hope you settle into KRC and Berkhamsted! We can help you find your way around and are happy to try and answer any questions about the town you may have. Our welcome pack does contain a section with useful local names, addresses and phone numbers.
What is KRC’s style of worship?
KRC offers a mixture of traditional and modern praise, to reflect the mix of people we have in the church. A music group plays at every Sunday Family service and we are always seeking people with a talent in music to participate, whether this be singing or playing an instrument.
I was an active member of my last church and would like to get more involved in the life of the church. Who should I speak to?
Great! We are a busy church, and there are many opportunities to get involved. As a first step, why not speak to Billy Milton?
