ESSENTIAL 100

Sunday 8th January saw the beginning of the E100 programme at KRC. This is a programme of 100 carefully selected Bible passages from both the Old and New testaments along with short, engagingly written notes to help you reflect on the Bible's meaning and relevance for you today. It highlights major themes and gives the 'big picture' from Genesis to Revelation.

We have on offer the personal note book for individuals and Group books for Home Groups as each week we will be backing up our Sunday morning sermon in our mid week groups.

New Wine

A number from KRC attended New Wine Summer Conference this July. We had a great time together and with the Lord. The times of worship were amazing and the teaching blessed each one of us.

It was good to spend time getting to know others from local Berkhamsted churches too.

'I think that I most appreciated the quantity time (as opposed to the squeezed in so called 'quality time' in modern life) spent with God and the church. 

It was really special as newcomer at KRC to be able to get to know a few people - and their children.

Having the time to press in to God in various ways was very special, be it during the sung worship, the ministry times and the talks in the meetings, or the talking/ praying with with friends about things that are coming to the surface.

Allowing the 'I have loved you, says the LORD' message of the week to soak deep.

Jenny breaking through to join the Prayer Ministry Team and her sense of being involved in what the Lord is doing was really good.

Simon having the space/time to have the Lord search his heart and together with Him reclaim a few specific areas where the enemy had been given permission to have a foothold... Having my vision for prophecy renewed and being prayed for round the dinner table by the church family to have the Gift of Prophecy released in me...

However, real competition for the top moment must be being asked to cuddle/play with little Joel White - twice! :)
